Luis started swimming at the age of 8 years and competed at national level and his highest achievement was fifth best time for 100 butterfly and getting short of qualifying for the Pan-American Games in 1991.

Luis has a variety of experience in teaching swimming from group school sessions for children aged 8 to 12 to small group sessions for children aged 4 to 7 but also one to one sessions for adults, from beginners to seasonal triathletes.

He has also experience as a swim coach for London Fields Junior Triathlon Club for kids from 8 to 15 years old. Luis is also a triathlete and runs his own cycling company.

Luis appreciates the small class size of the swimming nature methodology as he believes it enhances a lot the quality of the lesson and allows a tailored attention.

He enjoys teaching children of any age and ability!
