How Swimming Nature could help you

We teach beginners and train athletes. We build confidence in nervous first-timers and refine technique in competent swimmers. However old you are, whatever level you’re at, Swimming Nature can help.

By combining highly structured modular lesson plans, small class sizes and hands-on, in-water instructor attention, we ensure you or your child makes rapid and visible progress.

Not only do we emphasise the mechanics of the four strokes, but we teach the how, why and what behind effortless, energy-efficient swimming, so with Swimming Nature, you’ll swim faster, better and in harmony with your body.

COVID-19 Measures

Covid-19 – Customer Instructions: Bannatyne Chafford

We would firstly like to welcome you back to our lessons at Bannatyne Chafford.

You will see at Bannatyne’s Chafford that Covid-19 measures have been introduced in line with guidance from our governing bodies. These measures have been added for the safety of you, your children and the Bannatyne’s team and we kindly ask that the changes are respected and adhered to at all times and we thank you in advance for your co-operation.

Customer pre visit information:

There will be a limit of 1 adult per child allowed on poolside. Poolside markers at 2 meters apart will be placed along the raised seating area and we ask that you remain seated for the duration of the lesson.

Face masks or visors must be worn around the public areas of the building were indicated. Exemptions to this rule are not permitted. Your face mask or visor can be removed on poolside and within the changing facilities only.

Pupil preparation:

Please arrive pool ready to reduce the time spent in the changing rooms.

Arrival at venue:

You must arrive 10 minutes early and will be required to sign in at reception and scan the NHS QR code.

Temperatures will be checked at reception and if over 38 degrees, you will be asked to leave, and you must

contact Swimming Nature immediately. Hand sanitiser stations are located at reception, throughout the

centre and on poolside. We ask that you regularly clean your hands whilst in the venue. You will be required

to wear a face mask or visor. There are no exceptions to this rule at any Bannatyne’s Clubs. Lost property is

being kept at the venue for 72 hrs before it will be disposed. We kindly ask all customers to check they have

all their belongings before they leave.

Journey around the building:

The journey around the building has not changed but is subject to keeping in the direction of the markers

indicated on the floor.

Changing rooms layout and rules.

Changing rooms will be open. Showers, lockers, and hairdryers are in use, although those indicated will

remain closed to allow for social distancing. We do ask that pupils arrive pool ready and shower at home to

help reduce the contact time spent in this area of the building.

Poolside:

The pool is accessed via the changing rooms through the same way as before, however there is a one-way system in and out. There will be socially distanced markers placed around poolside to identify where your child will enter via their instructor and where you can also observe the lessons. Children will be asked to wait by the designated area where their lesson will be due to start. Due to social distancing the 20-meter lane will be split into 10 meters per instructor.

We are keen to continue to provide a high level of service to you and your child, however, it is important we all work together and adhere to strict government guidelines to support you, our swimmers and the Instructors along with Bananatyne’s staff.

Thank you for your cooperation in advance and we hope you and your child are looking forward to returning to lessons as much as we are.
