Henrique, hailing from Brazil and fluent in both Portuguese and English, is a seasoned swimming professional with a rich background in the sport. His swimming journey began at the age of 4, marking the start of a lifelong passion. With qualifications such as SEQ Level 1 and SEQ Level 2 Teaching Swimming, Henrique brings a wealth of expertise to his role as a swimming teacher, boasting an impressive 15 years of experience in Brazil and recently transitioning to London. Henrique's achievements in swimming extend to being the eighth best in the national championship in Brazil for the 100-meter freestyle. Beyond his personal accomplishments, he pursued a career in physical education, becoming a dedicated swimming teacher and coach. His coaching career includes guiding two Brazilian champion athletes and several state champion athletes. Apart from swimming, Henrique enjoys running, playing football, and weight training. His multifaceted background, both as an athlete and a coach, reflects his comprehensive understanding of the sport. Teaching the Swimming Nature Programme resonates with Henrique due to its personalized approach, enabling greater participant development compared to group classes. He particularly enjoys teaching individuals over 3 years old, emphasizing personalized attention. Henrique's choice to become a Swimming Nature teacher is influenced by the recommendation of his former coach and the appealing methodology of personalized classes with a maximum of two participants per teacher. Joao have been swimming since a very young age in his native Portugal and never looked back! After moving to England to continue his studies, swimming has become a weekly habit of his life and never stopped since. His passion for swimming led him to become a swimming teacher and share his enthusiasm with his students for the past 10 years. Joao speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. He loves teaching children of any ages and abilities!.
Juan Carlos
Having been involved in Physical Activities since early age, we can say without any doubt that sport is one of Juan´s most important things in life. Juan has been competing in many different sports like Taekwondo, Tennis and Football. This enthusiasm about sports led him to complete a Degree in Sport Sciences & Physical Activity and since then, he has been eager to spread his passion to others and help them to gain new skills and enjoying life through the physical activity. After more than 10 years of teaching experience in many fields like Aquatic Fitness, Aquatic Rehab and Swimming Lessons from children to adults, he truly believes that Swimming Nature´s Method is a great way to learn and improve your aquatic skills. There is no better reward for a teacher than seeing students progression and help them to build their confidence and enjoying at the same time. As a wise person said once “It always seems impossible until it´s done” (Nelson Mandela).
Luis Guillermo
Luis started swimming at the age of 8 years and competed at national level and his highest achievement was fifth best time for 100 butterfly and getting short of qualifying for the Pan-American Games in 1991. Luis has a variety of experience in teaching swimming from group school sessions for children aged 8 to 12 to small group sessions for children aged 4 to 7 but also one to one sessions for adults, from beginners to seasonal triathletes. He has also experience as a swim coach for London Fields Junior Triathlon Club for kids from 8 to 15 years old. Luis is also a triathlete and runs his own cycling company. Luis appreciates the small class size of the swimming nature methodology as he believes it enhances a lot the quality of the lesson and allows a tailored attention. He enjoys teaching children of any age and ability!

Rinor has been swimming since his very young age in his native Kosovo and never looked back. He holds a Level 2 ASA teaching qualification and has been always passionate about swimming, fitness and health in general. He enjoys teaching any age and abilities and he likes to give a positive impact to all his students making the first steps into the aquatic world!
Please bring a swimsuit, towel, goggles and a swim cap. For babies, you’ll need one disposable swim nappy and one happy nappy (or equivalent).
What happens if I miss a lesson?
If you notify us at least 24 hours in advance, we can cancel the lesson and credit you with a ‘make-up’ lesson. Contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.
Are there any rules I should be aware of?
Yes, all swimmers must shower before entering the pool. Parents/guardians are required to supervise children outside of lesson times. Food and drinks (other than water) are not permitted on the poolside.
